SCHEDULE

  • 4 pm – Arrival at Agawa Bay South, Lake Superior Provincial Park for front-country camping

    5 pm – Camp set-up and select gear demonstrations

    6 pm – Dinner

    7 pm – Safety briefing and trip overview

    9 pm – Rest

  • 7 am – Wake-up and breakfast

    8 am – Camp tear-down and pack-up

    ~9 am (exact time TBD) – Group shuttle to Gargantua Bay (northern terminus)

    Hike Gargantua Bay – Rhyolite Cove (~5.5 km)

  • Rhyolite Cove – Beatty Cove (~7.5 km)

  • Beatty Cove – Coldwater South (~12 km)

  • Coldwater South – Barrett South (~10.5 km)

  • Barrett South – Agawa Bay (~15 km)

    3 pm – Arrival back in Agawa Bay. Option to begin commute home or overnight at Lake Superior Provincial Park (not included).

    *Tents and packs can be rented. Pricing options vary and are included at checkout.

    Campers can bring their own 1-person tent if preferred, however, this must be cleared with the guide prior to the trip to ensure that the group does not exceed the maximum number of allowable shelters on site.

  • 6-day vehicle permit, payable to Ontario Parks ($12.50 +hst per vehicle per day)

    SHE Ventures can add vehicles to the reservation online prior to trip departure, but license plate numbers must be provided and applicable fees sent via e-transfer (or vehicle permit add-on included at checkout).



CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made 30+ days in advance of the departure are fully refundable, minus a 5% administrative and Square processing fee. Cancellations made outside of the 30-day window are non-refundable. However, all trips are transferable to another qualified woman aged 18 or older prior to trip departure. 

A minimum of 3 participants are required to run this trip. Registrants will be fully refunded if 3+ people have not registered 2 weeks in advance of departure.
