ITINERARY

  • DAY 1

    📍 Start: Achray Campground Trailhead
    📍 Finish: Stratton Lake
    📏 Distance: ~9.5 km
    Time: ~3 hours

    Morning

    10:00 am – Arrive at Achray Campground trailhead and register vehicles. SHE Ventures will be there to show you how!

    10:30 am – Begin hike along the Eastern Pines Trail, taking short breaks at Johnston Lake for scenic views.

    Afternoon

    1:30 pm – Arrive at Stratton Lake and enjoy lunch.

    2:30 pm – Set up camp near the eastern end of Stratton Lake, close to High Falls Natural Waterslide.

    4:00 pm – Hike a short distance (1 km) to High Falls for swimming and sliding on the natural rock waterslide.

    Evening

    5:30 pm – Return to camp, cook dinner, and enjoy sunset by the lake.

    8:00 pm – Relax around the fire (if allowed) and stargaze.

    Overnight: Stratton Lake Campsite

  • DAY 2

    📍 Start: Stratton Lake
    📍 Finish: Achray Campground Trailhead
    📏 Distance: ~9.2 km
    Time: ~3 hours

    Morning

    7:00 am – Wake up, enjoy a quiet sunrise over Stratton Lake.

    8:00 am – Breakfast and pack up camp.

    10:00 am – Start hiking back via the loop section of Eastern Pines Trail for new scenery.

    Afternoon

    1:00 pm – Arrive back at Achray Campground, rest, and enjoy a post-hike snack or swim in Grand Lake before departure.
