2:00 PM – Arrival at Grundy Lake Access Point
Meet at the Grundy Lake access point for introductions, a gear check, and a brief overview of canoe handling, paddling techniques, and trip safety before we head onto the water.2:30 PM –Paddle to Gut Lake + Portage into Gurd Lake
Paddle through Grundy Lake to Gut Lake, followed by a short 190 m portage into Gurd Lake where we’ll make camp for the weekend.5:00 PM – Arrive + Set Up Camp
Get hands-on experience with setting up your equipment. Learn essential backcountry skills including bear safety, water filtration, and cooking with a camp stove.6:00 PM – Firewood Collection
Help collect deadwood for the evening campfire and learn basic wood processing techniques.7:00 PM – Dinner
Group meal and lakeside downtime.8:00 PM – Evening Yoga Nidra
Unwind with a gentle, grounding yoga practice to stretch out from the day’s paddle.9:00 PM – Fire-Building Workshop + Bonfire
Learn practical fire-building techniques, then enjoy games and group fireside chats. -
7:30 AM – Wake Up + Breakfast + Coffee
Ease into the morning at your own pace and enjoy a relaxed group breakfast by the lake.9:00 AM – Rise and Release Yin Yoga
A slow, grounding yin practice focused on gentle opening, deep rest, and releasing tension held in the body.10:00 AM – Free Time + Tarot Readings
Spend time swimming, relaxing at camp, or simply enjoying the backcountry. Individual tarot/oracle readings will be available throughout the morning for those interested in reflection and guidance.12:00 PM – Lunch
Light group lunch before the afternoon adventure.1:00 PM – Optional Paddle + 850 m Portage to Beaver Lake
For those interested, we’ll head out on an optional paddle adventure from Gurd Lake into Beaver Lake via an 850 m portage. This is a great opportunity to gain additional backcountry canoe tripping experience while exploring more of the park. Those wishing to stay back at camp are welcome to enjoy free time at their own pace.4:00 PM – Firewood Collection + Optional Human Design and Astrology Readings
Help collect deadwood for the evening campfire and learn more about responsible fire practices in the backcountry. Those looking for a slower afternoon are welcome to enjoy optional add-on Human Design and astrology readings ($17 each) from Michelle.6:00 PM – Dinner
Shared group dinner.7:00 PM – Evening Yoga Nidra
Settle into deep rest with a guided Yoga Nidra practice designed to calm the nervous system and support full-body relaxation.8:30 PM – Bear Hang Tutorial
Learn practical techniques for safely storing food in the backcountry, including different bear hang systems and campsite best practices. -
7:00 AM – Wake Up + Breakfast + Coffee
Enjoy an easy morning.8:30 AM – Rise and Release Yin Yoga

Pack up camp gear and load the canoes.11:00 AM – Paddle Back

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 30+ days in advance of the departure are fully refundable, minus a 5% administrative and Square processing fee. Cancellations made outside of the 30-day window are non-refundable. However, all trips are transferable to another qualified woman aged 18 or older prior to trip departure.
A minimum of 3 participants are required to run this trip. Registrants will be fully refunded if 3+ people have not registered.
